ASF
A 26yr old female whose brain is powered by caffeine; without its main fuel source it has a working speed slower than that of a slug. That aside, she wishes she could grow a teeny weeny bit (read: a lot) taller and constantly whines about her weight. Enjoys devising novel ways to traumatise people with her bludders. Oh, and she is rather antisocial.

And I just can't stop smiling! =D

...then I read this post.
Her post got me thinking.
I used to read her blog everyday when I was studying in Aussie. I was going through a really difficult and depressing phase at that time, and she was one of my very few sources of solace. In fact, if not for her cheerful posts, I'd probably have succumbed to my depression and... oh well. You get the idea.
And now, almost three years on, I've obviously forgotten the difficult phase I went through, and I'm ashamed to say that I've been taking my life and the people around me for granted. I keep whining about my boring life and my omg-this-is-so-tiring-and-boring job, and somehow 'conveniently' forget that there are many others out there who have much more troubles than me. Much, much more.
I know enlightenment is a bit late, but I guess late is better than never.
No more whining from now on. Seriously.
And I really, really hope everything will work out fine for the friend.

- and here I am, stuck here in front of my antique laptop,
I can feel a serious bout of Monday blues coming soon. Very soon.
What a great way to start the new week. Whee.

Man, it was not a very pleasant experience.
I spent the next one-and-a-half hour lying on the dentist's chair, mouth wide open, letting the dentist shave off my four front teeth down to little stubbles. When that was done, the dentist gave me a mirror so that I could see what happened to my teeth.
I saw a disheveled-looking monster looking back at me with a freaky gap-toothed smile. I almost screamed before I realised that the freaky-looking monster was my reflection.
The dentist made a temporary veneer for me after that, but it's made of CREAM-coloured plastic. She kept apologising to me for the colour, but I guess it can't be helped, since she didn't really have much colours to choose from. She promised to call me once my permanent ones arrive.
So I have a fake smile now. Literally.
I'm so not going to smile for an entire week.

It's been eons since I've last blogged.
For some reason, I just lost the mood to blog. For a long while, it felt like I was all stretched thin, and
In these months that I've disappeared (not that anyone knows or cares, anyway), lotsa things have happened to me. And these things have helped to mould a new me.
A better me, I hope.
Anyway, I'll be back to post again in this new year (I think).
