A 26yr old female whose brain is powered by caffeine; without its main fuel source it has a working speed slower than that of a slug. That aside, she wishes she could grow a teeny weeny bit (read: a lot) taller and constantly whines about her weight. Enjoys devising novel ways to traumatise people with her bludders. Oh, and she is rather antisocial.

My initial aim of setting up this blog was to let me
But it's getting increasingly difficult for me to blog, especially on some sensitive issues (to me).
Like how I don't like some people's attitudes. And how much I really yearn to give them a resounding slap and scream at them to F%CK OFF.
Like how it's getting increasingly tiring for me to face some people that I don't like everyday.
Like how tiring it is to put on a facade everyday of the week.
Like why I'm stressed in my job.
I can't be entirely honest, because I don't have the guts to.
So I guess the only thing I can do now, is to bury these...issues in the deepest recesses of my mind and just go crazy.
Right.

Sunday night's almost over.
And with it, my two precious days of rest. Tomorrow is the start of another looooong and dreary week.
Guess I've got to get ready for bed now.
Damnit damnit damnit

For the past few days, I have a friggin' bad sore throat that itches like hell. So when it itches, I cough. When I cough, it hurts like someone just shoved daggers down my throat. And when it hurts, it itches again. Friggin' vicious cycle, I tell ya.
And as if having a friggin' bad sore throat isn't bad enough, my face had to deal me another blow - by letting three pimples appear on my face. Usually, these will dry up overnight after I've applied acne cream, but not these. They simply became PUSTULES. And best of all, after I applied acne cream onto them, they started to dry up - by flaking. So now, I have three red, gargantuan, flaky-looking, pus-filled pimples growing next to my lips. WTF.
Think I shall sulk in a corner now. Argh.

Damn, I've just blown my dieting schedule.

Great. I just realised someone else has said almost the same thing as what I did in my previous post, in his blog. I just hope I won't be accused of plagerism or anything.

Make a guess, how much do they get?
$500?
Nope.
$300?
Not even that.
They get just 100 friggin' dollars.
Can you believe it? That's not even as much as what some of the kids are getting for their allowance nowadays.
The president of this club explained that the majority of the money ($1500 out of the players' salary of $1600) was deducted to cover expenses such as accomodation, transport and food, and that the players knew that before they came over to Singapore.
But... after reading the article, I couldn't help feeling that the players were seriously cheated; I felt pretty pissed and disgusted with the club.
The article mentioned that each of them had to fork out $800 for the rent. OK, maybe the rent is damn high. But according to the article, there were 22 people squeezing into a house. Which means the total rent collected amounts to $17600. Now, I don't know about the market rates for renting a house, but I'd think it can't be that astronomical, right?! It's not even in Bukit Timah, for goodness' sake! Even if you throw in other factors like electrical bills and utilities, it still can't be that high.
Plus, the players aren't even doing any cooking- $700 has been deducted from their pay for meals and transport - which, I think is rather unneccessary. I mean, if I were them, I'd rather be able to cook my own food. At least, I can eat what I want and what I like - at the price I'm willing to pay.
Then this guy said something like, the players get an additional allowance of $50 as match-winning bonus.
Yeah right... like that's a lot, huh.
He also mentioned something like they'd be entitled to 35% of the prize money if they ever finish in the top three positions in the league. It does sound reasonable, doesn't it?

Except that when you realise that it's to be shared among the team, it sounds pathetic.
What pissed me the most though, was the attitude of the president. To quote
Wtf. I'd think if the players knew what kind of shit they were getting themselves into in the first place before signing the contract, they'd never have come here, not even at gunpoint.
And did you notice? He didn't even sound remorseful or guilty.
Whatever happened to ethics?
Has it become non-existent in this world anymore?
